At the Maticevski studio we love a wedding, it is always such an honour to be such a big part of a wonderful celebration, even more so when the bride is a much-loved member of our team.

As expected there was quite a bit of Maticevski worn at the event. The bridesmaids in versions of new season “Sanctuary Gown” (SS14/15) in black sporty mesh, each with varying neckline details. Three bridesmaids, each with their own unique style, were able to shine in their customized dresses.

The mother-of-the-bride was dressed in the Mistress Dress from the current AW14 collection. A dress in digitally printed scuba fabric with silk satin lining and sculptured ruffle details on the back – which she could not help wiggling on the dance floor.

The bride was breathtaking in her gown. It was a custom designed dress with a fitted bodice and intricately beaded clear and white seed beads on net overlay supported by crinoline. The overall look was crystalline, modern and romantic. It was a confection of hand-beaded panels and the floor-length veil was dotted with smaller hand-beaded motifs.

The TV Week Logies were held on Sunday. Maticevski dressed three lovely ladies who wowed us on the red carpet, each in their own distinctive way. Claudia Karvan in a preview on the new SS14/15 style that recently had an outing on the catwalk at MBFW earlier in the month. Claudia was wearing “Sanctuary Gown” a key sport-luxe look from the new season, in polar-white mesh. It’s always great to see garments from the range on different people as they wear things in their own way. Dresses can look so unique when the wearers inject their own style and personality into an outfit.

Kat Stewart was smoldering another SS14/15 look. This time the “popularity one shoulder gown” sculptural classic black with asymmetric and side split details. On the red carpet she kept the natural look by wearing her hair loose and she glammed it up with shine of gold accessories.

Jennifer Hawkins who always cuts swathe on the red carpet was wearing a custom made two-piece ensemble. Twisted panels combined with intricate hand beaded net details teamed with lush cream jersey for a midriff-baring look.
